  We booked this holiday at the last minute and really did not know what to expect. Currently living in Germany it meant we could travel there by car. Even this was a great experience, driving through the Austrian and Italian Alps. From the moment we arrived at the Garda Village our holiday really began. As we booked last minute there was only 1 standard bungal - The pool area was very comfortable, plenty of beds and no-one holding them with towels. It was on the lake, amazing views. 15 mins walk from Columbare with all its restaurants. 5 mins walk to bus stop for Verona, Sermione, Desanzano and Peschiera (where you take the free shuttle to Gardaland). 10 mins taxi to train station. Nice restaurant on site. Good supermarket and 2 more just off site, within walking distance.
