Fonti di Pescaia is a pretty villa with its own garden, just 10 minutes' walk from Siena's historic centre. It provides free Wi-Fi and free parking and has excellent bus links around town. 10 минут пешком до исторического центра. Комната простая, но чистая со своим душем и туалетом. Своя парковка. Правда, нужно иметь в виду, что въезд на паркинг с другой улицы. Но после заказа я получил письмо от хозяина Франческо с описанием. Wi-Fi. Приехали мы раньше официального времени Check-in. Нас встретила горничная Алла, говорящая по русски. Позвонила по мобильному Франческо, который приехал через 5 минут, все оформил и порекомендовал ресторан ( действительно достойный). Мы остались очен.
alle bewertungen » Owner / staff was friendly and accommodating. He lives off-site so be certain to notify him of your arrival time. The accommodations are basic and budget oriented. The room was sparse of decorations; but clean, neat and livable. It is an easy 20 minute walk downhill from the central train station with luggage. Plan for the uphill return trip if you don't take luggage. And it is within easy walk of the old city. We concluded that this is an excellent value for money and will likely stay here aga. The hotel is an excellent place to stay to see the sites in Siena. It has a very nice courtyard and parking. It is only a few minutes walk to the entrance of the old town center. The rooms are spacious, clean and quite. The owner is very helpful and accommodating, he gave us many great tips on what to see and good places to eat. Also, we forgot our jackets in the room closet so the owner was happy to mail them back to us. I highly recommend staying here. Francesco was most welcoming & a great wealth of information on places to eat, visit & enjoy in Siena and the surroundings. We were able to extended our stay by two nights as the guest hose is very conveniently located to city, & safe to walk back to in the evening. Clean, cosy, quiet and comfortable. Loved the guest house and loved Siena. The house and garden are beautiful as is Siena. The guest house is incredibly well located. It really is only 5 minutes by foot into the historical centre! We were made extremely welcome with a lovely and very generous welcome gift. Thankyou! We also much appreciated the excellent coffee machine. it is a peaceful, clean and lovely hotel. Although the hotel is not inside the historical area it is not so far by walk. I smoke a lot so for me the garden was a kind of heaven. But the most beatiful part is the manager. He is really helpful and kind. It's ideally situated for visiting Sienna, especially with a car as there is secure parking. It's close to the entrance to the city & a quiet and peaceful place to stay. We will certainly try to stay there again when we return to beautiful Sienna. This is a villa with hardwood floors, comfortable beds and very pleasant and helpful staff.Francesco recommended a few restaurants and local dishes to try at these places. Breakfast was at Petit Cafe for 3,50 euros and they were also very friendly. Location was easy to find, and easy walking distance from Basillica and city centre. Francesco was extremely helpful with directions, and also recommended a great local restaurant which served authentic Sicilian food. Our stay was very enjoyable. Comfy bed, lots of space, lovely garden, friendly and helpful host who let us check in early. Fridge and hobs so u can cook and keep wine chilled. Car parking and location to travel out of Siena and also proximity to city wall. Good to find accommodation with car parking so close (walking distance) to the historic centre of Siena, if you are visiting the city as part of a longer motoring trip. The host is very friendly and helpful :-). We were very happy with our stay at this cozy place. Francesco is both friendly and helpful. He can give you good advice about what to see and do in Siena. I advice you to ask him where to have dinner!. Excellent staff, good rooms for the hotel 2*:there is dryer, good shower room and accessories for shower, garden, where you could location is no bad( but we were lost). Lovely house with friendly host. - Although it describes itself as Rooms, our room was in fact in a shared apartment with a good kitchen facility - as such really good value for money - a good location for sight-seeing/culture visits as all the main sights are within 1 15 minute approx. walk. It had a nice garden with chairs and tables, nice to seat on and have a drink; there was also shady area; the rooms were clean and wifi working. Just remember when you go to Tuscany you are going to walk steep inclines..this villa is very close but requires walking...if you are unable to walk well you might opt for public transportation or to be closer to the plaza. We would recommend this villa to our friends. On a noisy road but not bad at night time if you keep window shut. The hotel is next to a main road which is very busy during the day - not somewhere you would want to sit outside at such times, even though the garden is pretty. However, the main road is quiet by night, so your sleep should not be disturbed. I'd like to have the breakfest, because cafe isn't near hotel or the kettle. No breakfast provided. Road noise. No access to coffee etc when reception staff not there. No hot water at night-requested it but to no avail. Hot water in the morning. Far from the walled city. Not the hotel's fault, but it was difficult to get there by bus. It is better, in my opinion, walk from the station. It was dearer than the other accommodation we used and they supplied breakfast but at Fonti Di Pescaia there was none. - Traffic noise until late at night and early in the morning. - one of our windows did not have an adequate curtain and the shutter looked to have fallen off so the room was very bright from approx. 5.00am onwards - not good for sleeping - on the last night while out for a walk I discovered some good restaurants further up the strada di pescaia which had a very good local Italian feel - I wish we had been told about these restaurants on arrival. It was quite far from the city centre; and unfortunately didnt have a kitchen, which would be so nice since there is a nice seating area in the garden. There is no cooling of any sorts in the room and it is on a very busy road and lots of road noise. 1.No refrigerator 2.Sloping bed from centre to side 3.Constant wifi drop out but this may be a reflection of location as had same problem throughout most of Italy 4.No one in attendance at property except between 10am-3pm 5. Overall - just a room 6. Siena is jam packed with tourists - exploring the back streets enhances its appeal. side of the road and noisy.
