From there the number 1 you can discover almost all of Venice. The hotel is grown, clean, well equipped and quiet place. The restaurant recommended to us by our hotel was the best of our entire trip - Restaurant - Pizzeria - Capolinea.

  As we had a car this location was perfect. Parking was free and the #12 bus to Venice was a 3 minute walk from the hotel which also sells the bus tickets. The bus was a 10 minute ride to Venice. The hotel was safe,clean and comfortable. Get there by 7.15 as they will be turning people - I felt that I was in a more upscale hotel, even though the cost was quite reasonable. The hotel is in a very convenient location--near to the bus stops and also only a short walk to the piazza in Mestre. The breakfast included in the price of the room was wonderful! Also, parking is free on the grounds of the hotel.

So while the location was a bit of a hike to Venice the previous day, it was worth it for the next morning's airport convenience. It's only 5min walk to Mestre railway station. They give you 2-3 huge towels, so no need to carry you own. The shower cabin can be small only if you are obese - otherwise it is perfectly big and there's always hot water. You can even change them every day. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the sheets were clean and soft. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend it. The staff were nice, police, fluent in English.

I think I'd - This boutique hotel is fantastic - Fillipo and his staff were amazing and very helpful - especially with transport and getting to and from Venice. It is a well designed and superbly fitted out apartment style rooms. Mestre is a great option to stay rather than to fight getting yourself and luggage to Venice island which is a 15 minute bus ride to Venice. Legrenzi Rooms are located close to the bus and train station and a great restaurant and bar plus shopping is right outside the door!
