The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is very close to the main train station where you have bus, metro and train access in all directions.
the fridge in the didn't work but there was one working in the kitchen

everyhing was OK
Mr Kalikart was in Egypt so we were well-taken care of by his younger son Marco, who was friendly and spoke enough English for us to communicate without problems. Our triple room was spacious, clean and air-conditioned.
Wish there were meat or fruit options for breakfast in addition to the yoghurt, bread, jam, coffee and juice that was served.
Great location, just a couple of blocks away from the main train station and a couple of blocks away from the Santa Maria Maggiore. Lots of eating options just around the corner. Extremely cooperative owners and staff - even though they had difficulty communicating in English. They were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for our last night in Italy because we wanted to be close to the train station for the morning trip to the airport. It served that purpose well. The staff (all family members from what I could tell), seemed very caring and wanted to do what ever they could to make our stay pleasant. Everything in the room was spotless.
A little hard to find as it is not marked on the street, but rather is through a courtyard. We had to have local business people to point out where it was. The room is very simple with no frills. Obviously done on a limited budget, but done with care.

The price. Not worth paying over $150/night. The bathroom (really small and cramped), breakfast was a prepackaged stuff. We bought our own the next 2 mornings.
