  The Pilier D'Angle is a very well run family hotel where you are made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel provides transport to and from the Val Veny Cablecar and this makes travelling to and from the slopes easy and straightforward. The skiing in Courmayeur is good though might get a bit dull if staying a week so we skiied in both Pila and - We had a nice room in the chalet with a lovely mountain view from the balcony. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the wines [local] were excellent. Entreves is a very attractive village and it's very pleasant to walk around the older part, very near the hotel. We will be returning here as it's so well placed for the Mont Blanc tunnel and the journey back to the UK.

  I love this little hotel on the outskirts of Aosta. We have stayed here in the winter to ski and now in summer to go hill walking in beautiful Aosta Valley. The owners and staff are fantastic, speak excellent English but very supportive of attempts to try and speak Italian. The restaurant serves delicious, simple regional food and fantastic steak... was die leute sagen » s. Although on the edge of town there is an hourly bus service into Aosta centre. Despite being located near to the main road it is surprisingly quiet - Really nice little hotel, just out side of Aosta town..but a nice easy drive to get there as well as to the cable car to Pila. Our room was large and comfortable as was the bathroom. Wifi was a pretty good and can't complain about that. It also had lots of parking and the hotel was easy to find. Breakfast was nice and plenty of it and the fact you could eat at their restaurant at a resonable cost was a real bonus. If I came again I would definitely stay here as it provided a great base to explo

  We stayed just one night passing through Italy to France. The owners were very friendly. The family room was spacious and comfy. The beds slept well. Restaurant was surprisingly good. Beautifull view at the Aosta valley, the Matterhorn and the Mont Blanc. - Great view. Nice staff.
