  What a little gem ! Roberta and her mum were the perfect hosts. They were always on hands to answer any queries we had about getting out and about in Tuscany. The facilities were good - the fridge in the room was a godsend. Yes it may be a bit 'rustic' but it was very homely and we always felt very comfortable and at ease. Castellina is a great base for visiting other parts of Tuscan - A three minute walk into the village of Castellina provided a restaurants, shopping and wine outlets. A drive around Chianti vineyards is a must with quaint villages and lovely countrtside. Roberta ensured our stay was comfortable, restful and provided good local knowledge. The pool was great as it was hot in August. Rooms were comfortable and rustic.

  This was our first stay at La Segolina, but certainly not our last! The original old Toscany farm house, surrounded by nature, was beautifully renovated, and the rooms are lovingly decorated. La Segolina is a perfect choice for those who like biking or walking in nature. The apartment is nice and spacious. The hosts, Maria and Antonio will treat you like their own family. Iif you stay in La Segolina you'll surely taste Antonio's fantastic organic wine, enjoy the frangrance of Maria's lavendels.
