He really cared that you would have a wonderful experience there. It is just so Sicily. Alley ways and balconys and plaster buildings with a small courtyard piazza where breakfast is served. It was a unique experience and so much better than staying in a big hotel. Very spacious and tastefully decorated in the style of old Sicily.

Extensive breakfast with homemade cakes. Very nicely decorated place with great attention to detail. Extremely helpful staff who take genuine interest in their guests - all you have to do is ASK and Matteo (who speaks English well) will help you out. Owner offered us free lunch because our tour to Mt Etna had to be postponed from AM to PM due to car problems that he could not foresee.
