Borgo San Rocco is a truly magical place. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and we felt at home instantly. The staff and owners are so friendly, and helpful they make you feel a very welcome guest in their beautiful resort that they love as much as we did. The owners Maria and Fabrizio are the most wonderful hosts. We had dinner almost every night when we were there. Maria is an amazing cook and everything is made fresh either from her garden or from some farms nearby. Breakfast is a major affair with a wide array of fruits, pastry, cheese, prosciutto and Maria's homemade yogurt. The decor and landscaping is chic and rustic. Definitely one of the major highlights of our trip is staying in this wonderful bed and breakfast.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !
