Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious with a walk in wardrobe, big bathroom with a spa bath, and the best part was the view from our window straight out onto Mt Etna. She gave us a map of the area and recommended re - We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable. The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.

  The drive with Massimo from the car park to our accomodation was exciting. We were a bit unlucky in that the village was enveloped in cloud, but that made the drive more exciting. Think very narrow cobble-stoned streets,slippy with the moisture,driving at speed and missing corners,parked cars etc. by millimetres. Massimo met us as we arrived at the hilltop location and helped us to park our car in a free car park and then took us and our luggage in his car to the apartments. He recommended very good restaurants and was generally extremely helpful. Our two day stay was perfect.

  This was the delightful surprise packet of our trip. Milazzo is not really well represented in writings on Sicily. We found it a place not to be missed. As for Piero, our host and his apartments I cannot say enough good things. He was extremely helpful, happy and informative. Even the street of his apartment was just gorgeous. The bathroom and the kitchen were separated from the large room and everything was very clean. The fact that we had our private terrace was very convenient. We really felt like home and the owner was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious!
