AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. I drive and SUV, parked it on the ramp and left the keys.   Das B&B war ruhig in einem kleinen Zitronenhain gelegen, sodass man vom Verkehr der Hauptstraße nichts mitbekommen hat. Das Frühstück war typisch italienisch mit Hörnchen, Marmelade und allerlei Kaffeespezialitäten. Die Familie war sehr freundlich und hat immer weitergeholfen. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  I thought this was a great hotel. The room and bathroom were lovely, especially the bathroom where the modern fixtures were super and the capacious shower a real treat. The staff were tremendous: helpful and very friendly. The hotel is on a beautiful little piazza, and there are a couple really good trattoria really close by.   Love and care was all around in the hotel - you could feel the genuine effort that the owners put into satisfying all the clients. The rooms were simple, but very nicely designed and very clean. The view from the hotel was spectacular - The hotel was in the mountains, but just 8 km from the beaches of sant' Anna which were really nic - Stunning sea view. Large & clean pool. Extensive breakfast with homemade cakes. Very nicely decorated place with great attention to detail. Extremely helpful staff who take genuine interest in their guests - all you have to do is ASK and Matteo (who speaks English well) will help you out. Owner offered us free lunch because our tour to Mt Etna had to be postponed from AM to PM due to car problems that he could not foresee.

  Pools fantastic Rooms large Very helpful staff, in particular Monica. Courtyard with fountain and poolside area very nice with ample seating. Nicely furnished with oceans of space for clothes, even in the smaller of the two rooms. The large room had a sofa and coffee table making it very homely. Location near to Segesta, relatively near to Palermo... was die leute sagen » and Monreale and the coast, including the nature reserves made it an excellent choice for culture, nature and sea. - We had a very short one night stay but the location is great with easy access to many interesting archeological sites and local points of interest. We would hapily return in the future.
