  Lage,Personal - It is a very confortable and well situated. The staff was very kind. - The hotel is in the centre of Palermo opposite Teatro Massimo. Eeasy to reach from the Palermo's central statio (buses 101, 103 ), the bus stop is 100m from the hotel. The staff is friendly but could speak English better. Good breakfast, spacious, clean room.

  Everyone we encountered on the staff went out of their way to help us. It is a very peaceful serene setting. After a hectic day of sight-seeing, you can return to your quiet haven and have a wonderful meal. We did not know that they offered dinner until we arrived. It was a wonderful place to stay. - You really need to put "location for visiting important sites" to your list above. And "charm" - this place offered a great location for visiting Villa Romana del Casale near Piazza Armerina. There was also amazing shopping possibilities for ceramics.This place offered both comfort and charm and the history of this house itself was interesting. The host and staff were very accommodating and pleasant as has been our experience throughout Sicily!

I didn't stay in the actual hotel but what is presented as an apartment, in fact a small one-bedroom house attached to the hotel. The hotel is a short walk (albeit up a bit of a hill) to the centre, so for us was perfectly located in terms of views and access to the town.   We lucked out and paid a great low season rate for essentially their penthouse room -- which was mod, spacious, and loft-like. I'm not sure what this room goes for in summer, but we felt like we had every luxury for a bargain price. No breakfast on site when we were there, but they gave us vouchers to some great local caffes and pasticcerie. They speak excellent English and have very helpful suggestions of how to spend your time in the city and further afield. Good location, in the city centre but without the city-noise. Clean, a lot of light, big room, comfortable bed and clean showers. The kitchen is perfect. The living-room is nice for meeting other travelers. Luigi is very helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home in Palermo. I would definitely recommend this b&b!

  We couldn't have been happier with the Hotel Sirius. The location is great, with a short walk up into the centre of Taormina and just 2 minutes walk to the cable car down to the beach.
