  Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. Dinner menu is good (would only have liked a bit more choice for starters). Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Room (4 persons) was great, with a downstairs ar... was die leute sagen » ea with 2 single beds and an upstairs 'master bedroom'. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has the best rain-shower ever. Highly recommended! - We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!

  We were upgraded to a different residence - we had booked the San Domenico Residence but we slept in Badia Nuova Residence. The room was perfect for a couple with cooking possibilites. The house had been renovated recently and was very new and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was also all one could wi... was die leute sagen » sh for. The location of Badia Nuova Residence is perfect: Very close to the old city center and only a 15 minute walk from the train station. - I stayed in this hotel with my husband and daughter we really enjoyed ourself - location was perfect.. Close to bars and restaurants and beach, we rented a car which made it all worth while!!! We will be back....

  Excellent!!! The host was young, nice and friendly, he really did care about us and our staying there. The rooms very clean and jolly, nice decorated and our apartment included a nice kitchen where we chose to have breakfast self cooked to enjoy it together. A little bit far from the city but cosy and relaxing. It was such a pitty we couldn;t spen... was die leute sagen » d more than a day there.a nice barbecue and a little olive orchard can be seen from your balcony. - The loaction may seem a little way-out but its a short walk to a good beach. The owner was really nice and helped us print our airline ticket in his house. There is a nice area for BBQ out the back, and a little retreat with hammocks. We would recommend this for a group of people to stay as the on-site bar/restaurant is a good place to chill. very comfortable altogether!

This was quite a find, and perhaps 2 kilometers from the ruins at Agrigento.   My my, what a hard review to write. I can tell you now, that these photos or anything I write here, will not do this hotel justice. If you are looking at this hotel now however, give yourself a highfive, cause you have just found a gem. I have pretty much been raised in five star hotels and have seen them all. In our age with all the media tools we have available nothing is really left ope - Do not compare a 5* hotel in Sicily with a 5* hotel anywhere else in the world...Saying that, we had a lovely time despite some flaws, exploring the Etna region and playing golf on the oldest golf course in Sicily nearby (green fee reduction when you stay in the hotel). Make sure to visit Castiglione di Sicilia about 1/2 hr. away. Hotel is in a very quiet area in well kept grounds, perfect for a short break.
