  We stayed here for 3 nights in late October. This small property (with only 3-4 rooms in total) is located on the hills overlooking Lake Maggiore (maybe 800m up from the lake). It offers a beautiful view of the lake and each of the rooms has a large (long & narrow) balcony in which to sit and drink wine. It is approximately 5 minutes to town (... was die leute sagen » Cannero) by car and a car is definitely needed if you are staying here (as the hill is somewhat steep and windy). The rooms are really clean, and are - We loved staying at B & B Casale. Luisa looked after us like we were family. It is in a great location with magnificent views over Lake Maggiore. The room was exceptional, very spacious with a very comfortable bed and 2 balconies overlooking the lake. The shower and bathroom was very modern and well appointed.We could walk to Cannero Riviera in 20 minutes along a well used designated path! Breakfast was delicious with home cooked treats.We can't wait to return to B & B Casale and enjoy

  The location of the hotel is fairly close to the Sportinia elevators( around 500m from the hotel) and the bus stop of both bus to the elevators and to Oulx. Upon arriving, in our room TV,refrigerator didn't function, however in the morning hotel staff helped with all the problems without request. That was very nice of them.   We arrived very late at night - but still were able to get the key to the room. The hotel is quiet, perfectly located, with planty of free parking spaces, and the beautifull trails are just a couple of minutes of drive from the hotel. Many skiing schools in the complex, with great instructors. There was a mix-up with our booking and we were very unhappy with the apartment we were offered at first. We complained and were given a spacious and very comfortable apartment, with a great view (at no extra cost).

It probably used to be very hip and trendy back in the '80s, now it's a bit worn and outdated. But it doesn't take away the comfort. Actually some of the furniture may be really expensive nowadays.   Diese Unterkunft/Lage hatte alles, was wir uns wünschten. Ruhe - Erholung - Natur. Der wunderschöne See lag direkt vor der Haustür. Wir konnten mit dem Kanu fahren, am See spazieren oder schwimmen. Leider fehlte uns die Zeit um wandern oder biken zu gehen. Daher müssen wir wieder kommen :) Massimo und Martina sind äußerst liebenswerte Menschen und... was die leute sagen » gaben uns das Gefühl, wie zuhause zu sein - der Garten hat viele Plätzchen um einen Drink zu nehmen, zu grillen oder einfach nur um zu lesen. - Super nette Leute, die sich sehr engagieren. Es ist auch ein recht grosses Studio mit einem schönen Bad. Die Lage so nah am See ist natürlich auch der Hammer.
