  The location was excellent. We were within a kilometer of most sites. We could walk to most sites if we wanted to. Public transport was very good and within easy reach. The nearest metro station was about 100 meters away. The owner of the property was great and very helpful in every way.   We were a little dubious when we first saw the doorway leading to our apartment, but then wow! A beautiful large place with 2 floors, 2 living rooms and fireplace, gorgeously decorated, and a nicely appointed kitchen and bathroom. The only downside with our young family was that Trastevere comes alive after 11pm at night, and even with the windows closed and ac o - We stayed in one of the apartments in Trastevere (Mameli) for four nights and we were 3 in total (my partner, my mom and I). It was clean, spacious, warm (cause winter), kitchen is well equipped and the shower was great. Very spacious. Free Wifi in the whole apartment was useful. We had a late arrival but the gentleman (sorry forgot the name) was waiting for us and very nice.
