  Dear travellers, what follows is a sincere comment after having spent an unforgettable week at the Amalfi Coast by the Holidays Fico d'India hotel. As soon as you get there, Pino (the owner) and his family give you a warm welcome and you immediately feel at home. Rooms: there are not so many rooms but all are really nice, always clean and they are e - Pino, the owner and his family are fantastic, they would answer any question with smile and would do ! anything you ask for your best satisfaction. They are staying in the hotel 24 hours and always available. Pino welcomes us with a drink and his wife sent us with a package including lemons from the garden and "Confettura di limoni" that's what I called great hospitality. The room is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The hotel is easily accessible by car and there is plenty of parking spots.I

  A good money-saving place next to Sorrento which is much more expensive. The beach is 160 steps down thus adding to our good physical condition. We travelled with a small dogs and the pets are well accepted. Air-conditioning worked stable. The parking place is enough to hold all the cars (only in the week-ends it is rather packed). - Friendly, helpful staff, even turned on wafer slide especially for our children. Good for budget, sleeping 5 people. Parking available at Bleu Village and public transport to Sorrento and surrounds. Delicious, very cheap pizzeria in village (Meta)

The restaurant that was down the road from the Hotel was also excellent. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.
