The area did appear rather dodgy but in reality was not although you have to factor in the noisy locals that gather in the square below.   Great find! Hotel is located in best section of town, within short walking distance of Port and downtown. A must if you have a car; parking in Palermo is all but impossible. Off-season rates were very competitive. - I thought that my stay was very pleasant. i liked the room and the staff were very helpful

Both rooms were very clean and comfortable and we felt very welcome from the first second. Our hosts were very friendly and there was always a possibility to have a little conversation to get some tips what to do in Sicily. The breakfast was always lovely arranged and very delicious. A definite recommendation!

  I liked everything. I felt like at some old times of Palermo. My apartment was a dream, with curious stuffs to see in all sides. The couple who admins it helped us with restaurants, calling and booking to us. Very nice experience.

  Our host was very lovely and more than happy to help me chase up the airline to try and locate a missing bag. The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee delicious. The location was excellent - very close to Via Roma which led to the train station. Despite being close to main streets the B&B was very quiet.
