If you are not afraid of walking and climbing dozens of steep stairs then Nonna Jole is a great choice for staying in the old section of Lecce.   It was an amazing surprise. Located in the heart of the historical Lecce, we stayed in the appartment located on the top of the old building. We had for us an amazing opened, equiped terrasse looking at the Duomo and Santa Croce. It was just superb. Every tourist will die to be there. The hotel is very set on design. Highly recommended. - Nicely furnished, modern, comfortable, well-equipped, well located in the centro. There are only 4 rooms. Mine had a separate kitchen, bath and huge roof garden. A generous breakfast of pastries, fruit and coffee was brought to each room on a tray. The proprietor arranged for a parking space on the street where we were able to leave the car while we explored the city on foot. I would certainly return on a future trip. The price was very reasonable.

Michelangelo himself went far beyond what we could expect from him - arranging the parking, guides for Lecce tourism, - Michelangelo was so kind to us. Best service ever! The B&B was in a great location, he helped us find parking and we had a free audio guide of the city. He even offered to take us to an underground tour of the city. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant. We would definitely recommend this B&B and return again!

  First off, this Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay!!!! The owner lives close by and was not only very friendly, was also very helpful and took the time to answer my emails promptly. The breakfast is a typical sweet Italian kind and was nice to enjoy before we headed out to sightsee. Everything in the photos and site is as described. It is located in a quiet area and is safe and very close to all the action in the historical city center of Le - The owner was incredibly hospitable and kind. He picked us up from the train station at midnight so we would not have to walk so late at night. He also had free bikes for our use, and a desk top computer with wifi. The room was immaculate very comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the historic center. I highly recommend staying here.
