  The Istituto is very clean and the room is well-appointed. The building itself is historic and lovely. I had a last-minute problem when my outbound flight was cancelled and the staff was very helpful and gracious. I meet with the owner all of 3 minutes and never saw him again; so make sure you understand the AC/heat, remote windows etc., before he disappears. The location is - Everything was great! The location is perfect for walking around the city. You're just a few minutes walk from the city center. There's awesome restaurants and shops within steps of the B&B. I'm hesitant to encourage people to visit Lecce though, because it doesn't have the hordes of tourists like Rome. I'd like it to stay that way!
