  The hotel is about 15 minute walk from the main train station Termini which can be used to explore all of Rome. The Hotel is 4 star and it shows. The breakfast was excellent and the service outstanding. We actually didn't have a hotel room but stayed at the Apartments managed by the hotel (400 metres) away. The apartments weren't serviced (as we k... was die leute sagen » new at booking time).. But the complex was in a medieval setting and very impressive. - The staff were very friendly and helpful and did there best to meet our needs they also gave information about tours. The porter made no fuss about bringing our bags to the room and helped my sisterinlaw to connect to the internet .the room lovely clean and bed comfortable also had a taxi take us to the airport when leaving .

He did the samething to offer his help to bring down all our luggag - Right from the moment of the initial, the team at Matisse couldnt have been more helpful and professional. Roberto, the owner, was charming. The relaxed atmosphere was welcome after a long day travelling. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Although they were fully booked on our last pass thru Rome, the staff once again went above and beyond by helping us find alternate accommations in their neighbourhood. Staff were incredibly friendly - happy to give advice or just chat. Rooms were quiet and very spacious.   Die sehr günstige Lage zu Bus und Metro - Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und der Service war sehr gut. Zudem war die Lage des Hotels wirklich sehr zentral, sodass man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss ablaufen konnte.

  The location (few steps away from Piazza di Spagna) and the decoration of the rooms. This place is in the heart of Rome, perfectly located for a city/shopping trip. All the areas were clean and we loved our stay there. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Rome. It's very small, with just 4 rooms. It is brand-new and just opened in the fall of 2013. When we had an issue with the mattress being too hard the manager addressed it right away by putting a soft cover on it. The street has hardly any cars which is nice but there is a restaurant right below so you will need to close the windows to sleep.
