  Hotel Manfredi is a small boutique hotel only three blocks from Spanish Steps. It is located on a quiet street that is known for it's speciality shopping. The staff is small and the feeling personal. Rooms small but elegantly appointed. Comfort level high. Small restaurant open for breakfast and cocktail hour. The decor of the Hotel is charming and old world, to match the location. Also, the breakfasts are great, and the entire staff embody Roman Charm.

  The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. I had a deluxe room and it was lovely - faciltities were good, nice shower, tv, safe, fridge - all you would ne... was die leute sagen » ed. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.
