Our apartment was perfect for our family of four. The location is five minutes walk to the Duomo, and the Academy museum is almost around the corner.   What a unique experience that to stay at Villa Agape for a fantastic introduction to Florence. Its peaceful and wonderfully attractive setting is a perfect oasis away from the always crowded historic center. Inside, the huge villa offers many areas that give you a sense of a family home more than a conve - The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.
