I stayed one night in a hotel in Ciampino, as my flight arrived at 20.30 and i wasnt sure how easy it would be to get to this hotel. Actually trains from Ciampino are regular and cost only 1.35 Euro, so in future I would probably go direct. - the price

  We stayed at the B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere twice during our visit to Italy. Overall, we thought the accommodations provided a lot of value for the money. Our first room was quite small, with a very tiny bathroom, but comfortable overall. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. There are budget friendly cafes - It´s really close to the Trastevere railway station with the direct connection to the airport which is relatively fast and very comfortable.   We stayed in this hotel with my wife for three nights. It's somewhat further from the center and good 15-minute walk from the metro but we enjoy walking and didn't find this annoying.
