  To be truthful, this was the first time I have stayed in a B&B in Europe, (I usually stay in hotels) and I am happy to say that I would certainly stay at B&B Al Teatro di Porta Dipinta again. The owner Umberto was very helpful, friendly and respectful. The appartments are spacious (quite rare), with own bathroom, large bedroom, well equipped kitchen. The location is great - in the Old Town, very close to the Funicolare station, in the back court of an old building. The bus stop with a bus going directly to the airport is right opposite the street, so very convenient. Works both for a short, as well as a prolonged stay.The owner is really nice and very helpful in answering all kinds of questions. This

Very nice breakfast and we had permanently coffee, tee, chocolades and fruits in our room. - The B&B is in an excellent location in the old town.   We stayed one night at “B&B Botton d'Oro Pelabrocco”. The hotel is easy to reach from airport by bus No.1. Bus stop is just few meters from the hotel. The hotel is situated close to historical centre of Bergamo and funicular. Check-in is from 14:00, but we came at 13:00 and got a room with no problems.   That was a trip for 4 days and 4 different locations and as a result- for sure Liberty B&B was the best. Very cousy and unique place which is quite modern equiped but from the other side very autontethical and antique. We felt like at home there. The Owner is even over firiendly :). Plus free parking in private parking area next to the bilding. - The room and bathroom were spacious, pretty and had all that we needed. In a very convenient and relatively quiet location, everything is 5 minutes walk away. The owner was amazing: thoughtful, informative and very helpful. In fact, he went out of his way to save us from a crisis regarding our flight home by communicating to relevant people for us, helping us with luggage (two bikes) and also met us at the bus station to make sure it had all worked out well.
