  The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was quiet, yet just off a lovely square. It was so close to the grand canal and therefore easy for transport and sightseeing, eating out etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful.   The hotel is basic but really good value for money. The decor is dated but is really clean and tidy. We had cleaners come into the room daily swept moped and clean towels and sheets. The hotel is basically on the front of the canal about 1min walk from san marco square.
