  It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. I totally recommend this hotel. - We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!

It has a small kitchen anex, which was very convenient. The manager Elvis was very helpfull in trying to sort out the transport to Lajatico for us.   The owner Carlo is amazing. He had a wealth of information about Florence and the surrounding areas. He was also very nice, and helpful. We were told about all the hotspots as well as recommended restaurants in the vicinity of those sights. The B&B is also very clean, and quiet. It is also very close to the metro Firenze smn. We were within 10 minutes walk of the Duomo and downstairs is a fab coffee shop and one of the best kebab shops I've ever eaten at!
