The price was excellent for an apartment in such a superb location.

The location of the Residenza is perfect (next to San Marco but away from the crowd, and not far away from the Castello area where the Biennale takes place and where there are plenty of great authentic restaurants).   Nice location, just besides the water bus stop.The streets in Venice are so complicated that makes you easy to get lost, but the Pensione Guerrato is very easy to find. The staff are very kind, rooms are clean. We live in the top floor and from the window there you can see the bell tower in St. Marco square. The baby bed was perfect and the room itself was comfortable and very clean. The pensione is great value for money and ideally situated near the Rialto bridge.

Room was basic but functional and thank goodness the AC worked because outside it was 38 degrees C. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful.
