Farmhouse "Borgo La Montanina" is from the 17th century, is renovated in 2004 and situated 17 km from the centre of Camaldoli, La Verna, 18 km from the centre of Arezzo and 65 km from the centre of Firenze, Siena. The house is located on top of a hill. This farm is divided into three separate apartments. Two of the entrances are accessible from inside whilst the smallest is accessible from outside with a separate entrance. On request: professional cuisine, cookery lessons, guided tours, Italian language courses.
In the house you will find facilities like an open fireplace, satellite-TV, CD-player, a dishwasher, air conditioning for an additional cost and internet (Dial up/ISDN, for free). From the garden with terrace furniture, a barbecue and deck chairs, you have panoramic view of the valley. There is an attic floor from the living room on the top floor of the main building reached by a spiral staircase.
For private use there is a garden and an outdoor swimming pool of 7 x 15 m, depth 150 cm, opened from 15-05 to 30-09. It is possible to play table tennis. In the house there is a sun terrace, central heating and a washing machine. Room cleaning on request (extra). Parking space is available on site.
Within 3 km you can find several restaurants, bars an a supermarket. Shops and grocers are in 5 km and the Poppi golf club is 12 km away from the accommodation.
