  The setting, the fabulous view on mellow Tuscan hills, the extras like the "happy hour" where you can nibble for free, the vegetable garden, the cosy lounge and all the art books/catalogues you can leaf through, the pool of course, the location perfectly suited for visiting Volterra, San Gimignano, Sienna, Florence and even Lucca. Set on the hillside of the area, the hotel offers comfortable rooms,perfect views and decent facilities. The dinner cooking was wonderful although the breakfast was a bit light. We certainly enjoyed the stay.
