The room was pristine clean and I was delighted when I stepped into the bathroom in my bare feet - the tiles were warm with underfloor heating and there were heated towel rails.   We had a lovely stay in the Anchor Inn, the room was beautifull with a lovely ensuite and nice powerfull shower. Once we arrived a basket was delivered to the room with tea, coffee bottled water and ice bucket with ice and a jar of cookies. The room was very clean and extremly comfortable. I had to take down the name of the mattress because it was the most comfortable bed i have slept in. Food was 5 star. Great value for money, cant wait to go back.

We had booked our reservation on-line 5 minutes before we showed up at their door and we were greeted as if we were friends they'd been expecting for months.   I stayed post valentines day with my partner and unexpectedly got engaged! It was a perfect setting and I adored the decor of the courtyard suites...was only sorry we could not stay and enjoy them longer. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive.
