  Loved the comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and amazing restaurant--tried a lunch and a dinner there and it was great. Staff was very friendly. Walking distance to old town (10 minutes) and the beautiful porcelain factory (10-15 minutes the opposite way).   Simply everything. The hotel is right in the centre, just next to the main shopping street, sightseeing points and cafes. Our room went to the street but still it was very quiet inside and we had a good sleep. Staff is very kind and polite - they did not even mind that we showed up late for breakfast and served us specialities not even on the disp... was die leute sagen » lay. The room was moderately decorated but it was clean, tidy and comfortable. It was an absolute plus that the heating was already turned to maximum - Pecs is a great place to visit and has a laid back atmosphere. This hotel was located just across the street from the Barbican and was a ten minute walk to the old town centre. We walked from the train and it took about 25 minutes. The breakfast was standard.
