We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

The hosts were very friendly and they helped us with advices and recommendations about what to see and visit in Budapest. They make us fell really welcomed, they smiled a lot and they were very very nice. We even received a bottle of wine courtesy of the house :) and some pieces of jewels hand made by them :) they really made us enjoy every minute

A great location, if you want to be near the main tourist street with lost of shops and restaurants (which are open late and sell everything at 'tourist prices'). The apartment has an unique atmosphere, with very high ceilings, windows opening to Vaci utca, and a church sitting in the back yard.

einfach super Apartement. Auch die Reception angestellte waren freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wollte das Zimmer wechseln weil mir das was ich gebucht hatte nicht gefiehl, war alles kein problem konnte sofort wechseln einfach 1A - Sehr zentral, sehr geräumig und schön. Besser kann man nicht Urlaub machen!!

I liked everything. The apartment was wonderfull, the cost is very cheap. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. Our room was on a ground flor and we had the opportunity to go out to the yard. Wery quiet and comfortable despite the fact that it is located almost in the centre of the city. I can say a lot about this hotel, it's excellent.

The apartment was very nice and even had a washer in the apartment for us to use. The staff was helpful and nice. There is a small fenced yard available to let dogs of their leash and run around for a bit. There is secured parking, which takes the stress away from anything happening to your car. This was a good place to stay and we would stay again.

The staff was very friendly, to begin with. I had problems with my card when i made the reservation and they were nice and didn't make a big problem about this.
The apartments were in the center, so close to everything and very very spacious and comfortable. They have everything you might need including an ironing machine and a hairblower and all sorts of stuff in the kitchen. We were very surprised we could get such a nice place, with such a good location with what we thought was a low price.

The location was excellent. The guy who gave us keys was very nice and helpful. We have actually booked another apartment but they had some problems with water and in the end we lived in very good location as well. Very honest and trustworthy people. Apartment was comfortable, we had two double beds and big comfortable dining table so we could chat and eat together.
