  Very lovely and clean hotel and wonderful staff! We stayed there for 6 nights (June 2013) on our honeymoon in a beautuful double studio with an amazing seaview from a comfortable balcony.   My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere. The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

Breakfast was fantastic, the Mani bread is SO good and is home made by the grandmother I believe. The staff are very friendly and informative. The father and son made us very welcome.   What a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had booked for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we ended up staying 4 nights. The staff were all helpful and always had a smile. The breakfast was excellent but far too much for us to eat. The evening meal was always very good and varied. The wine went down very well too! Our room was lovely and very spacious - The B&B is not in Olympia, but in a village nearby, so a car is needed to get there. It didn't matter to us because in Olympia there's nothing much to see or do, once you've visited the archeological site and museum of Old Olympia. The place was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent.
