  We liked everything about this guest house. Our apartment was perfect with lounge, self catering facilities, separate bedroom and modern bathroom. ..all cleaned every day.Our balcony overlooked the beautiful garden, pool and surrounding hillsides. Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  Very lovely and clean hotel and wonderful staff! We stayed there for 6 nights (June 2013) on our honeymoon in a beautuful double studio with an amazing seaview from a comfortable balcony.   My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere. The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

The breakfast was excellent but far too much for us to eat. The evening meal was always very good and varied. The wine went down very well too! Our room was lovely and very spacious - The B&B is not in Olympia, but in a village nearby, so a car is needed to get there. It didn't matter to us because in Olympia there's nothing much to see or do, once you've visited the archeological site and museum of Old Olympia. The place was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent.
