  The owners are a cultivated Greek family who are fluent in English and German. They had a warm, genuinely friendly attitude towards us. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of green, there are fruit trees of many sorts, palm trees and oleander and hibiscus bushes that are watered every day by the owners. The rooms are spacious - Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. The hotel has a great garden and facilities for small children. Clean and big rooms (2 separate rooms + kitchen/dining room). Nearby beaches are breathtakingly beautiful.

  It happened to us for the first time that the reality was better than pictures. I can strongly recommend the hotel to anyone. We were there with a big family. The staff was extremly nice and supportive to all our wishes and needs. The place was tidy, cosy and stylish. Breakfast was rich and served in a very nice way.   Everything and really everything was very good. We were there to visit Mount Atos; Hiljandar. The rooms and the whole hotel was very clean. It has the european standard. A Family from Düsseldorf - My friends and I really liked our stay at Filoxenia. The hotel is really close to Ouranoupoli. It is located a bit on the hill, so from the main porch you can have a wonderful view while you have breakfast in the morning or just relax after a long day. Rooms are very clean, comfortable for a stay of a few days and all around a nice green yard. Parking is also not an issue. Efi, the nice woman in charge, is also very nice, helpful and caring of her guests.

We were very pleasantly surprised especially because we didn't insist on the double bed. After this warm welcome, everything was as we expected. V - Location of the hotel is just perfect, it's on the hill, in peaceful street and yet, so close to the main street and center of Ouranoupolis. The sea view from balcony is amazing. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is, although the same, always fresh, with good choice of food and drinks. Stuff is, without a doubt, very kind and friendly. At the end, you can choose any of several beautiful beaches close by, depending on whether you have a car or you walk.

The owners and staff are very friendly, excellent hosts and nice people. We came with a 2 year old child, and they did everything to make our stay comfortable. We warmly recommend this hotel to everybody, and we are definitely going back next year.
