Staff was very friendly, enough parking for rented cars very close to your room. You don't really need a car because there is a little shuttle bus, but it's easier to get to your room, and also in general to explore Rhodes... Hillside is located about 12-16min walk from town. I am not writing this as a negative as our group was more then happy to save the money we did and just walk.
Two out of the 4 days we rented scooters so the distance from town to hotel wasn't a big deal.
You can rent scooters for 20Euro a day. The money you save staying at Hillside vs. a -

We just got back from Rhodes, and honestly we didn't want to leave. Our stay at Niohori Rodos Elite Suites definitely helped make for an amazing vacation. Very much a family run hotel, with friendly staff, excellent food and ideal for a base to get around Kos island.
The management could not have been more helpful, I would certainly recommend this hotel, but not for late party animals. -
