  Staying at Lithos was really pleasant. The room was extremely nice, with wooden ceiling and rock walls. It was homey and warm, and all the spaces were really clean. The staff was really helpful and they gave us an extremely detailed description of what to do in the area. Furthermore, the breakfast offered, was royal with various hand made jams and... was die leute sagen » pastries. The location of the hotel is in the small village of Agios Nikolaos is close to the big city of Karpenisi (5km) where you can go for anythi - We travel quite regularly to Greece, and this place is the best we have stayed in. The hotel is very special, with high attention to every detail. George the owner and his family are extremely friendly and helpful, and thanks to his advice we saw some amazing nature in the area. They all made us feel at home. Breakfast is very rich and served on the balcony. We will be back for sure !!!

  Whilst I appreciate that a room upgrade is easier in off season our upgrade from a basic booking to a junior suite was above the call of duty. A fantastic sea view, gorgeous bed linen, a deep bath... the list goes on. The owners were incredibly attentive, the breakfast probably the best we have had in 6 months (for the price): fresh fruit, bread... was die leute sagen » s, pastries, cheese, meat and as much coffee / tea as you could drink. As cliched as it may sound... I don't normally right reviews but had to this ti - The real question is what was not to like! The Hotel could not have been more welcoming and helpful, they really made us feel special during our two night stay. The owner Giorgos was fabulous and so was Poppy. Hotel Akti has very high quality rooms and outstanding service. We would definitely recommend this Hotel and will be going back again.
