  This is a hotel for the no-nonsense traveler that wants to spend his time visiting the wonders of Athens. Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day.   The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  Location was great for exploring Plaka, and all Athens monuments. It was also quiet. Our room on 3rd floor got Wifi signal, but the Wifi was only supposed to be in common areas. Big plus. The best thing about it, is the location, it was close to every attraction in Athens, just walking distance to Parthenon.

  We arrived really late after an evening flight and were really happy that this hotel was so easy to find - even in the dark! Only a couple of minutes from Monasteraki underground station in the plaka area which is lively on a night and feels pretty safe : ) the room was clean and simple, and also had a balcony with an excellent view of the acropol... was die leute sagen » is... Very comfortable and clean room.Good location in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk to the metro, the eymos (main street),the acropolis and the bus stop for X95 to the airport. Easy to find and safe surrounds. I've booked a simple room. Good price.

It was a delight to find such a genuine, friendly, helpful place.
