  The location is a little bit remote without a car, but this provides more privacy. I think it's a very nice location compare to the rather busier and noisier Oia or Fira.   The owners were lovely and so helpful both prior to us arriving and while we were there. The room was stunning and the views even better. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Santorini, we will certainly be back. - Dreams was over the top. The view, the room and most of all the employees. What a wonderful place to stay.

  This was our second time at the Windmills.The pool was pristine and a great asset on the hot days we had.. The accommodation in the windmill is unique and very tastefully done. There is everything you could need with many thoughtful touches such as candles for outside use. When we go back, we stay there.It is a perfect location between Ia and Fira. Since it is not on the Caldara side, it is much quieter and less tourists. You can be in Ia in 15 minutes so it is no biggy. Close to a small beach that you can walk to. Wonderful, relaxing and fun- you stay in a windmill.

All the views are just stunning, and although you don't get the famous "sunset" of Oia, we loved the changing colors of the sky against the volcano (a more unique view than a sunset, in my opinion).
