First bars were only few hundres meters away and the centre was maybe 1km away. Recommend for people travelling without kids, maybe. The staff is excellent, always at hand and willing to go out of their way to help arrange car rentals etc. The pool area is nice and clean, and never too crowded. The location is great, a little away from the noise of town but only 5-7 min walk to the beach.

You don't really need a car because there is a little shuttle bus, but it's easier to get to your room, and also in general to explore Rhodes...
