  The backyard is a great place for children. There were a few amenities like slides and swings, not to mention cages that houses rabbits, chickens that will easily fascinates children! The hosts Alex and Thomas were meticulous in preparing our rooms and gave my family advises on what to do for a day trip. Prior to arrival, i mentioned via email that i wont be driving( we asked how we could come on public transpor - Our experience here was superb. The room was lovely and spacious, and felt like a home rather than a hotel. The local area was very pretty and the hosts were excellent. We could have gotten very fat eating Thomas' gourmet food - great taste and amazing presentation! Breakfast was delicious too. We had backpacks but the walk from Altglassutten-Falkau station was not bad - only 10 mins. Highly recommend a stay here.

  The hotel was run by a very lovely family. It was a great base to go skiing as well as hiking in the Black Forest. Moreover, it was very near to lake Titisee, Schluchsee, and near to the Feldberg mountains, making traveling with a car extremely convenient! The hotel room and bed were very comfortable and had nice views of the blackforest.
