  The room was large with lots of storage space and a really nice modern private bathroom. It was just a 5 min walk to Wenceslas square. There were also less touristy, more local bars and restaurants just around the corner. It was really close to the train station and metro which made arriving and leaving really easy. Rob the owner was really helpfu... was die leute sagen » l - he gave us loads of tips on where to go, what we should expect to pay and the free guided tour he recommended was excellent - Spacious rooms and an 'old school' small hostel experience - only 4 rooms with shared kitchen. Robert picked us up from the airport and gave us plenty of local tips of what to do/not do. Also a couple of great cheap eating/drinking options around the corner (deminka pub/restaurant and pizzeria la torrenta) as well as a tesco express for cheap groceries.

  The all night bus from the airport drops you right at the Hostel door at I P Pavlova. Remember to push the button by the entrance and the gate onto the courtyard will be opened for you. Although I arrived around 1 30 am I had no problem gaining admittance. There was a nice breakfast waiting for me the next morning and the hostel was clean.   The staff was extremely helpful and seemed truthfully concerned about your well-being during your stay in Prague. I lived in Prague for several years so I have the basis for judging their advice as good and precise. The breakfast was not super varied, but it was quite good. The strict no-smoking policy is a nice break from Prague's still very permissive smoke culture. - The location is really close to everywhere, its one block from the metro station... Regarding the showers, despite they were shared with other floor hosts, they were private and clean.
