Very unusual architect-designed house on 3 levels (no lift, if stairs are a problem for you) that overlooks greenery & trees. Lovely sitting-out areas and an excellent, light & airy breakfast room.   This is a relatively new hotel. ALthough it is is a little out of town it is good if you want to experience life in a more authentic local setting. The double room I had was very comfortable and a decent size. The steak restaurant in the hotel is quite decent as well. The wifi was reliable an - Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Big rooms with good air con and very comfy beds. Great bathroom. The restaurant downstairs had a very good menu and great tasting food, we only wanted a small meal having eaten lunch already, and you could order smaller portions of many things on the menu. 10% was offered to hotel guests plus a free dessert! We arrived around 8:30 a.m. (far ahead of check-in time) due to an early flight.   Me and my friends stayed at this hotel last month for 1 night. We booked a 4 pers. ap. I liked the way it looked but we had no oppening window to the exterior. It was a glass wall, the batheoom had no window and the other room had a small window to the coridor. On the otherhand, I think they have also some pretty cosy ap. and maybe with windows. Liked verry - As business consultant I can tell to all potential visitors coming to ZAGREB: Hotel ILICA - can be a case study for all young hotel managers of how to get benefits from hotel with very limited possibilities. I can recommend it for businessmen, turists who do not like ARTIFICIAL "keep smiling" and prefer very open minded and sincere attitude of hotel staff. These guys really like to serve and help...Nothing to do with trained "robots".

  When we arrived, Dražen took the time to welcome us and give us all the explanations we needed about the city and about the apartment. We felt welcome. We booked the large apartment (because of the balcony), and it had everything we needed. The apartment was used for the purposes for calendar photo shoot. The atmosphere in the apartment is very nice and the staff was more than friendly and willing to help with any situation. Apartment was chosen for a photo shoot because of the interiror and antique furniture. I warmly recommend the apartment to anyone.

  It was a delightful experience at the Flores apartments! The 2 bedroom apartment we occupied for several days was fully equipped, renewed and clean with all the necessities one needs for a comfortable stay. There is enough parking place around a block and the neighborhood seems reasonably safe. Also there is a speaker of the HI-FI installed in the bathroom which I find very cool, taking a shower with music. The apartment is close to the center (10-15 min. walking) and in a nice area that has easy access by tram or walking to the other parts of the city. The owner was very friendly,
