I needed a room to sleep somewhere close to the airport. The owner was very friendly, and they dropped me off at the airport next morning around 5 am. They also provide taxy service at a very affordable price. The room was very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this place instead of one of the expensive hotels I stayed at before. Thank you!

We were very happy, just to begin with, we arrived into Zagreb almost at 11 pm, we called into Ikar guest house and Marco the kind owner picked us up at the airport; the following day he dropped us to pick up our car at the airport; he really went out of his way to accommodate us. He asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast and had it ready for us !, it was simple but plenty of food: coffee, juice, bread with jelly and butter and also a bid platter with cheese and ham.

We stayed at room Pleso for one night because we had to take a flight very early in the morning and the guest house is very close to the airport (5 minutes walk).
The owner is a very nice person, very helpful. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, the bathroom also very clean and convenient. Outside of the main house there is a little veranda were you can have coffee/tea.
As our stay wasn't originally planed (our flight had been cancelled the day before so we had to stay one more night

The staff were so welcoming, professional and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the chef came out to ask if we were hungry and, although he was right at the end of his shift he cooked us the most amazing steak dinner! The young guy on reception was so helpful too - while we were waiting with a drink he came over and asked us what time we needed a shuttle service to the airport and whether we would like breakfast in the restaurant, our bedroom or packed up for us! For a layover it was minutes from the airport. We arrived after checkin time due to travel issues and the owner was so friendly and stayed up and offered us some snacks as everything was closed. Very lovely staff and was a shame we were only there for a night to rest our head.
