better than agency rates. The best place we stayed on our trip so far

Our host was great! Her husband drove us to the ferry/bus port early
in the morning to catch us a bus.The room was great. Had full facilities
and very private. Couldn't hear the other guests which was nice.

The apartment was very luxurious. It was spotless and had beautiful
views of the sea and islands around Hvar. The apartment had a great
porch with a big table and chairs. The beach was just a short walk from
the apartment and a little store was about a five minute walk. The town
of Hvar was about a fifteen to twenty minute walk along the beach, but I
was told it was less if you walk by road. There was room for parking our
big van too (at no extra charge). We were very satisfied and even

The hotel has private parking which is very important in Trogir. It's located near the main street, very close to the market and to the bridge to the old town (5 minutes walk).
Everything in the hotel is new, clean and pretty. Furniture is modern and there is enough space in the room and in the bathroom. All over the place in the building is smelling very good and everything gives an impression of clean and quality.
The owner - I suppose - was waiting for us till midnight and he was so polite a -
I decided to stay in Trogir, instead of Split for my very early flight from Split airport at 6.15am. (From Split it is about 20-25km and from Trogir, it is less than 10km to the airport). The hotel arranged a local taxi for me and It was less than a 10min taxi ride to the airport. The hotel is very modern and clean and less than 5 min. walk to the old town of Trogir.

The staff are wonderful! We had a very early morning ferry back to the mainland at the end of our stay and would be missing the breakfast in the hotel's dining room. Not only did the staff pack us a breakfast to eat on the ferry, but they also packed us a huge lunch! Unbelievably generous in a day and age where so many places nickel and dime their guests. My stay at Palace Suites was truly fabulous. I wanted to be in Diocletian Palace so I knew not to expect a big chain style hotel. This boutique property was delightful- the staff went out of their way to be helpful, my suite was beautiful-by far the largest Suite I have stayed in during my European travels.
