  The staff at the hotel was very polite and always tried to help us. The rooms are in very good conditions and well maintained. Housekeeping was also outstanding. The food at all restaurant was excellent. I strongly recommend the bbq sea food at Fresh and the Dim Sum at Yiyang Restaurant.   The resort was beautiful, with lovely grounds and swimming pool. The beach was lovely and clean with lovely sand. We upgraded to a room with panoramic view which was worth the money and was lovely in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was enormous and catered for everyone. the staff were always friendly and polite.   We booked to stay 6 nights at The Royal Begonia so we could have a relaxing beach break during our sightseeing holiday of China. Due to our flight being diverted we didn't arrive at the hotel until 3:00am but this wasn't a problem. Reception staff were on hand to do our check in and we were in our room in no time.   Big room, with perfect shower. Hot tube on the balcony is a nice extra. We did not use the kitchen but it was also not very clean. Quiet beach, not a lot of facilities but perfect to do some nice walking. Only 5 minutes walking from the beach to hotel. In the direct area only some basic chinese restaurants.
