  Wonderful location -- right on the lake -- and the hotel grounds are really well landscaped. Food is excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly. This extended into every detail through the whole hotel, from lobby to hallways and rooms to a level you don't see very often in China, specially not in this price class. Bed was of superb quality. Break fast was nice with a good choice between Chinese and Western food. Also the food from room service was affordable and very tasty. Best thing was the spa, never had such a good massage anywhere in China.

  My room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in the executive suite, with a living room, and extra bathroom. The room came with a great view of the city, extra large bathtub, foyer with two closets, entryway half bath, and a business desk w/ computer and fax machine. I was able to take the hotel shuttle to and from the trade districts with no problem, however the shuttle driver spoke no english so I had - - Hotel location; International Trade City (Futian) is a short taxi ride away (or you can take the shuttle bus), also for shopping the Night market is about 15 minutes walk (Passing the petrol shed opposite) and Jeibei Shopping Center is also about 15-20 Mins walk. - Room was good, hot water excellent. - Wifi/Internet, free and very fast!

  Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Staff are excellent, as is the Hotel. Its good value for such a high grade hotel and does cater for all types of traveler, with good English spoken by a lot of the staff, plus there are usually some French staff around, if that's your first language. Buffet food caters for more or less every taste and is generally top quality, also not dear, by western standards at least. - The service was outstanding. All staff made me feel very welcome and were really attentive to my needs. Having free wifi throughout the dining and lounging areas of the hotel was really useful. Food was very good, the 50% offer on the evening buffet was an outstanding offer, and the bbq was delicious!

  Breakfast room at top floor - Staff were very friendly and helpful, but shy about talking with a westerner - I was the only one staying there! Location is great. Decor is excellent. Single room was really big with a double bed. Non-smoking bedroom really was non-smoking(no lingering smell) - a rarity in China.
