  The apartment was just perfect! We arrived at 11 in the night and got all the informations from the security guy, who also spoke a little english.. Everything was organised well and we could check in properly the next day. The apartment is just beautiful and there is nothing missing in it! Well sound proofed from street noise though neighbours had yapping dogs and crying babies. Minimal kitchen equipment but full size oven, gas hob, microwave and huge fridge. Powerful shower and constant hot water. Token operated laundromat on site.

  The staff, mostly young, smiling, helpful Chilenas (women) could not have been more welcoming...The beds were comfortable and new, the bed linens of good quality...excellent location in a peaceful residential neighborhood in the heart of Santiago, a 10-15 minute walk from two Metro stations... Can walk to most of the places of interest and spots in town, if one has the aptitude. Almenas is a nice cosy home/hostel, comfortable place to sleep in and a clean complete private bath (have to opt for it though). The staff is professional and courteous. And yes, Wi-fi is available and works very well. Breakfast was simple but sufficient as one would eat at home.

I was delighted to find ChileApart was all of the above. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very stylish and although small, had everything you could possibly need.
