  This was my 'blow-out' guesthouse during a three week trip to Cambodia ($36/nt, including breakfast). Excellent facilities and wonderful location next to the river. Real value for the price. (Check out the photos. It really does look like that.) My wife wasn't with me, but I can easily visualize a couple having a very pleasant, quiet time unwindin... was die leute sagen » g here. It's popular with Phnom Penh professionals who come down for weekends to relax. - The staff were super friendly. The location was gorgeous, beautiful view of the mountains and the riverside setting (with two wooden jettys overlooking the water) was incredibly peaceful and tranquil.

  This is by far the best place we stayed in Cambodia. Our hosts Steph and Yan, as well as the rest of the staff made us feel right at home from the start. We had most relaxing time in their beautiful lodge, staying in a traditional Khmer house on poles overlooking the rice fields, with an outdoor bed allowing us to enjoy the sunrise in the morning ... was die leute sagen » and relax after a day of discovery of the beautiful region around lovely Kampot. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Kampot river, just a few km - We stayed here for a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Stephane - the owner, his family as well his staff were all very warm and welcoming. Champa is perfectly located - next to a river, with mountains on one side and fields on the other. Thanks to the monsoon, everything looked like just from the postcards. It was one of my most peaceful experiences ever.

  Boutique hotel, central location 300 yards from river, bars and restaurants. Kampot is small quite town, relaxing not much to do outside of advertised trips independently or guided. This hotel was ideally placed, receptionist very helpful spoke good English and can make all arrangements for you. Western breakfast included eggs, bacon, baguette and... was die leute sagen » fruit. Would recommend. - Modern hotel in a French colonial style. The manager was fantastically helpful on anything at any time. The hotel is very clean and tidy and run exceptionally well. Close walk to all facilities and restaurants. Free wifi. Definitely would stay there again next time.

  this was my best stay on my entire Cambodia-trip. Cleanyness/Facilities/location in Kampot was perfect. Breakfast is a simple one but very good. It wasnt the hotel only that I liked with this stay. I also hung around in their bar just outside and I found that the people working here were very trustworthy, helpful and kind. It's a nice small hotel on the riverside and the road is not yet too busy. It's quiet and well located. The owner and staff are very nice and very helpful. I would cetainly stay there again
