Information about the area

The Golden Sands resort is the largest one on the northern Black Sea coast. It is situated 18 km north-east of Varna, at the forested foothills of the Zlatni Piasaci National Park, descending to the prime attraction of the resort - its 4 km long and 100 metres wide stretch of a soft, pale golden beach.

As one of the most popular beach resorts on the Bulgarian Riviera, Golden Sands is a lively, cosmopolitan holiday destination, boasting all-year-open luxury hotels and villas, spa centres, restaurants and a wide choice of sports facilities and activities. Enjoy water parks, swimming pools (some of which with thermal water), tennis courts, crazy golf, horse riding, cycling, scuba diving, water-skiing and para-skiing and much more.
