  The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk. Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.
